BODMAS RULE PART 1 |
Operations
"Operations" mean things like add, subtract,
multiply, divide, squaring, etc. If it isn't number it is probably an operation.
But, when you see some calculation like... 7 + (6 × 5^2 + 3) ... You may get confused and begin to think that what part should you calculate first? Start at the left and go to the right? Or else go from right to left? and you end up solving such type of sum in the wrong order, and thus getting a incorrect answer !
So, In order to avoid such mistakes being created , long ago people agreed to follow rules while doing such miscellaneous calculations, and they are known as Order of Operations also popularly known as BODMAS Rule.
