1) 40 + 15 x 4
Ans. Multiplication before Addition
First 15 x 4 = 60 , then 40 + 60 = 100 2) ( 350 + 400 ) x 2
Ans. Brackets First and then Addition
i.e. 350 + 400 = 750 , then 750 x 2 = 1500
3) 25 + 33 ÷ 11 x (27 ÷ 9)2 - 12
Ans. According to BODMAS Rule first we are going to solve Brackets
Thus we divide 27 by 9 and arrive at 3
i.e. 25 + 33 ÷ 11 x (3)2 -12
Next we are going to evaluate Order (power) - Thus we solve (3)2 and get 9
Therefore 25 + 33 ÷ 11 x 9 - 12
Now we divide 33 by 11 and get 3
Thus 25 + 3 x 9 - 12
Than we multiply 3 by 9 and we get 27 So 25 + 27 - 12
Finally We add 25 and 27 and get 52 and We deduct 12 from 52 and get 40
Hence 25 + 33 ÷ 11 x (27 ÷ 9)2 - 12 = 40
4) 7 + (6 × 52 + 3)
Ans. 7 + (6 × 25 + 3) [Start inside Brackets, and then use "Orders" First i.e. Power ]
7 + (150 + 3) [Then Multiply]
7 + (153) [Now Add]
7 + 153 [Brackets completed, last operation is add]

Ans. 12+3-4/2-5+20/5*3+50
= 12+3-2-5+20/5*3+50
= 12+3-2-5+4*3+50
= 12+3-2-5+12+50
= 15-2-5+12+50
= 13-5+12+50
= 8+12+50
= 20+50
= 70
